Clean Environment Commission Hearings

Subsequent to filing the Keeyask Generation Project Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), the Minister of Conservation and Water Stewardship asked the Clean Environment Commission (CEC) to hold public hearings for the Keeyask Generation Project. The Minister also approved the formal, funded involvement of seven Hearing Participants.

As part of this hearings process, the Hearing Participants had the opportunity to ask the Keeyask Hydropower Limited Partnership to provide further clarity on the Partnership’s EIS Filing. The Partnership received the comments on May 31, 2013 and had until July 15, 2013 to respond:

The CEC public hearings for the Keeyask Generation Project started on September 24, 2013 in Gillam. Details of the hearing proceedings can be found at the CEC website.
