 Nelson River

The site is known locally as Lillian’s Island or Hydro Island and is located in the

Nelson River channel between Isle “D” and Bryant’s Point. The island was noted
to be culturally significant to members of TCN. Decades of historic land use
was evident during investigations. In addition a single lithic flake was recovered
from the sandy beach. Site visits occurred in 2012, 2016 and 2018.
