 Nelson River

The site is located on the northern shoreline of Isle “D,” the second largest

island on Gull Lake. The shoreline consists of an eroded clay shoreline with
lithic materials recovered from the site. A lithic tool was recovered from the
eroded shoreline. Vegetation on the island initially consisted of poplar and
birch. Site visits occurred in 2012, 2015 and 2018.
