 Gull Lake Gull Lake
 Nelson River

 Nelson River
The site is located along the south shoreline along a point of land referred

to locally as Morris Point. The shoreline is very wet and low lying while
backed by a steep back shore. Due to the forest fire in 2013, the back shore is
characterized by dead fall and burned trees. During the initial visit Woodland
ceramics, Pre-European Contact lithic debitage, and a barrel hoop were
recovered. The site was named knees deep because the crew surveying the site
sunk knee deep into the mud. Site visits occurred in 2018 and 2019.
