The site is located on the high terrace of Morris Point across from Bryant’s
Point. When the site was initially located in 2013 it was after the forest fire had
swept through the area exposing the cultural materials and covering the site

with fallen trees. A hearth feature was found at the site along with artifacts such
as an octagonal gun barrel and a fork from a Late Historic campsite. No further
cultural materials were recovered from the site. During later visits, low lying
vegetation had begun to regrow in the area and the bank had begun to slump.
Site visits occurred in 2013, 2016 and 2018.
