Initial investigations recorded the lower walls of a log cabin as well as a
recently constructed teepee. The structure stood 34 m back from the shoreline,
approximately 4 km upstream from Gull Rapids. The cabin consisted of an
earthen foundation and a few remaining square-cut logs held in place by round
nails. Site visits occurred in 2004, 2013 and 2016.
