metres (m) inland, was the remains of a 4.2-m x 4.8-m log structure. Seven
rows of saddle notched logs were all that remained of the cabin. The entrance
was located in the center of the south wall facing the river. A midden of tin
cans, trapping equipment and a bone flesher was noted. The artifacts and round
nails suggests a post-1900 date for construction. Site visits occurred in 2001,
2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016.
