 Nelson River
        The site is located on the north shore of the Nelson River at the entrance

        of Gull Lake on east shore of Kahpowinic Bay. The shoreline has high
        ridges of medium-large sized cobbles and till with a ridge that drops into a                             A
        swampy lower level backed by a thick vegetated area full of spruce and birch
        trees. Pre-European Contact lithic artifacts characterize the site. Site visits
        occurred in 2004, 2012, 2013 and 2018.
