The site is located on a narrow sandy beach backed by a low swampy area on
the west side of Gull Lake, approximately 1.2 km west of Caribou Island. The A
Gull Lake site was originally characterized by Pre-European Contact lithic debitage.

Nelson River During a visit in 2019, three Late Woodland ceramic sherds were recovered
from the site. Site visits occurred in 2001, 2012, 2015 and 2018.
