The site is located on the north shore of the Nelson River on the northern tip

of a large point. Based on the recovery of fabric impressed pottery sherds,
flakes, and historic objects such as metal O-rings, and a knife blade, the site was
determined to be a multi-component site spanning both Pre-European Contact
and Historic times. Site visits occurred in 2001, 2004, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016,
2017, 2018, and 2019.
