Site HbKu-07 is located on a southwest arm of the peninsula on the north
shore of the Nelson River. The entire shoreline of the site consists of a narrow
limestone cobble beach. Initial investigations of the site revealed the presence
of a Pre-European Contact component as well as a historic one. Site visits
occurred in 2004, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2018.
