The Skipped Knife site is located on the west shoreline of a bay south of John
Gull Lake Kitch Point. The shoreline is comprised of occasional rock outcrops and large
Gull Lake
Nelson River cobbles with a low graded back shore. The site was named Skipped Knife, as
the stone tool was initial missed during the first pass of pedestrian survey.
